I was so very thankful for the referral I received from two different parties for Light Dental Studio’s of Puyallup. From my first inquiry to the Puyallup office by phone for an emergent situation I was greeted with a very pleasant response. At my appointment just a few hours later I was so very pleased. I suffer from dental anxiety and I met with a pleasant experience! The dental assistant, Sydney Stimson made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Then I was greeted by the amazing calm of the dentist, Dr. Demissie. Dr. Demissie put me at ease and conquered my concern. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Light Dental Studios of Puyallup. This practice will take great care of you!

Our family's experience with the Puyallup office has been nothing short of exceptional. My son needed an emergency tooth extraction on a Friday morning and was in significant pain. I first called the University Place office, but they were fully booked. Instead of simply telling me they couldn't help, they immediately contacted the Puyallup office and had him scheduled for 4:00 that afternoon. My son has special needs, and the entire team treated him with incredible patience, kindness, and professionalism. They understood he was anxious and hurting, and they made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier for both of us. As gentle as anyone can be while pulling a tooth, they made sure he was comfortable and cared for every step of the way. That experience only reinforced the trust our family already had in Light Dental Studios. My husband is now receiving implant care through the VA's Community Care program at this office, and we've continued to receive the same compassionate, high-quality treatment. It's rare to find a dental practice where every experience leaves you feeling confident that your family is in good hands. The Puyallup team has absolutely earned our trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for skilled, compassionate dental care.

Yesterday Saturday, June 27th 2026 I arrived with my fiance Steven at 8:30 for my 9:00am appointment, we were checked in simply. We were waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes when the receptionist ( the only one wearing black uniform from the clinic) approached us and told us that was too early for my cleaning appointment since it was 1 month from the last one, we told her that the dentist still had the upper right quadrant to do since it was not done at the last appointment, the receptionist didn't listen and still told us it was too early for a cleaning appointment. She expected us to reschedule and leave, I told her: " NO! I WANT MY SERVICE TODAY" She told us that she will talk to the doctor. 20 minutes later they took us to the cubicle ( dirty and dusty with garbage on the floor) and the dental tech ( wearing pink or light purple called Kianna) polished and flossed my teeth and said she will get the doctor. 20 minutes later the doctor arrived telling me " He was sorry about the wait " but he didn't know that we were there". I talked to the dentist about the whole situation and explained to him that the Customer Service was unaccepctable and I won't be coming back. Not only was the service bad but also in the only 4 appointments I have been there I have had 3 different dentists. Finally if that wasn't enough, the dentist had no assistant and I had to hold my own suction tool because he had no assistance. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN LIGHT DENTAL STUDIOS PUYALLUP!!!

Simply grateful! I started my journey to restore my serious dental issues at the end of last year. To say that my dental needs were truly substantial is an understatement. I can only convey that the confidents to make the decision to get my smile back, really came from my youngest daughter. She was so very understanding and loving in so many ways, that gave me the courage to make the commitment to research my dental options. Through our many different dental inquiries, we were blessed to find Light Dental Studios. From the very first conversation that I had with the dental office, to the completion of my treatment. Was without a doubt the most remarkable experience that I could have ever of imagined. The personal commitment from the medical staff to make me feel confident and lesson my worries and calm my nerves was one of kind. I was informed of all my procedures, and absolutely all the questions that came up through out my many appointments were answered with compassion and the kind of care, that I can only say again that, I am blessed. When a patient can understand and feel that there voice is heard and that, they are in an environment surrounded by people who confidently work together as a team, to provide there patience's with exceptional coordinated care is exactly what Light Dental Studios is all about. Thank you from my family, to the office staff and the dental staff for giving me my smile back!

Excellent experience, my dental hygienist Candice was so incredibly sweet and kind. She kept positive conversation and even gave me an ameseome adventure recommendation! She shared she is going to be retiring this year, and if every one of her visits were treated like mine, I guarantee she will be insanely missed! Very helpful with providing information on setting up an ortho consult, doctor was quick and nice as well! Overall I love going to this place!

My almost 2-year-old has been to the dentist twice before at another office, and each visit seemed to get worse. After our last experience, I knew I wanted to find a place that truly prioritized making her feel safe and comfortable. We decided to try Light Dental Studios since my husband and I have had great experiences there, and the pediatric office looked so welcoming. I had read that they focus on helping kids feel at ease, and they absolutely lived up to that. All of the staff were wonderful, but the hygienist and Dr. Micah were truly incredible. For the first time, my toddler never felt panicked or needed me to hold her. She didn’t say “all done” or “bye bye” like she had at previous visits—she was completely comfortable the entire time. As both a parent and a behavioral therapist, I could really appreciate how thoughtfully they approached making her feel safe—this experience meant so much to me. My heart felt a little healed today. I’m so grateful we found this office.

When my dentist of “ forever” retired several years ago… I was a little nervous about reaching out to a new dentist! A great friend of mine told me about Light Dental Studios… She was very pleased with their care and service so I decided to try them out! That was the best thing I ever did! I have been going there for some time as I’m always needing dental cleanings /dental care!They are the best! No complaints… I’m one of those “ Cowardly patients”! A few days ago, I went in for my six month cleaning! I was greeted by Hannah! She had such a warm and friendly feeling about her… putting me at rest! She has great people skills plus great dental skills… Sometimes cleaning can be areal chore for me to go through… But not this time! Thank you so much, Hannah! Hope we meet up next time!!! Donna W.
