Gentle Dental Manchester

I had a very disappointing experience with Gentle Dental. I visited in March for dental work. Before my appointment, they verified my insurance and told me exactly how much I would have to pay out of pocket. I agreed to that amount and paid it. Later, my insurance company requested additional information from Gentle Dental to justify why a deep cleaning was medically necessary before they could process the claim. Instead of providing the requested documentation to my insurance company, Gentle Dental started sending me bills for the remaining balance. This situation could have been resolved simply by responding to the insurance company’s request, but they chose to bill me instead. I feel this was handled very poorly, and now I’m left dealing with an issue that should have been addressed by the dental office. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

Honestly, I’ve had many challenges with Gentle Dental on Elm street over the years. It’s been lack of communication, inconsistencies, and just overall challenges. However, my last experience restored my faith in the place. Customer service was unmatched, I was pleased with my service, I made a recommendation regarding my treatment and I was heard without any pushback or pressure, I was also informed on a few things that were helpful to me. Thank you to Ahmed who took great care of me during my visit- start to finish, you’re appreciated. Also to the receptionist that assisted me while checking in and out. Hoping for that same energy from whomever I will be seeing next week!

I have never had a good experience at a dentist. I broke a tooth and filling. They were able to see me right away and get in me in a little later to do the work. Dr Norton and his assistant were amazing, and very gental. Thank you for reassuring me that you can actually have a good visit at the dentist.

Had my first appointment at Gentle Dental just yesterday and I have say I was extremely impressed. Once you walk in you are greated by thier lovely receptionist and a calming environment. I was brought back promptly and was greeted by the most knowledgeable, professional and personable clinical team. I was able to express my concerns and the reason for my visit to David who made me feel very comfortable, considering my fearful and anxious disposition when going to the dentist. Once images and x-rays were completed I met with Dr. Norton, who is by far one of the best providers I've met in my experience as a patient and also as someone who works in the healthcare field. Once it was determined a root canal was not needed he explained that a deep cleaning would be the best plan of action for my treatment. At this point we were already 45 mins into my new patient appointment. Upon agreeing to this they they worked quickly to setup and get right to work. In the interim I was presented with the out of pocket cost and to sign off on treatment. I personally love that because there's no "surprise" after the visit. During my deep cleaning Dr. Norton and David kept me calm by just conversing about hometown, oral care habits and family, etc. This was so helpful and needed for someone who will stop going to their dentist if my anxiety out ways the experience. I will be continuing my care with Gentle Dental and I'm actually looking forward to my next visit, due to the relief that their care has provided.

I had an exceptionally positive experience at this establishment. Every staff member greeted me with a gentle smile and exhibited kindness and professionalism. My nurse, Lisa, was remarkably knowledgeable. Despite my initial fears and significant pain, she effectively put me at ease. My physician was both handsome and compassionate. They took the necessary time to ensure I was adequately numbed before proceeding with the tooth extraction, and they scheduled my next appointment promptly. I found their demeanor to be very courteous. Consequently, I provided them with a five-star review and would gladly share my story if given the opportunity.Anne Davis
