OSA is honestly the best oral & maxillofacial surgical center ever! Long story short, I cracked a tooth and was told I needed a root canal. Went for that procedure and was told the tooth could not be saved. I had a referral to OSA and they contacted me the same day. The referral specialist, Rachel, was so sweet and professional and went over the procedure explaining it perfectly to me. She sent me the patient questionnaire and medical form(s) immediately so I was able to get those done before my appointment. I had an appointment to have the tooth pulled and a bone graft performed. Two nights ago, I couldn't stand the pain any longer so I contacted their office Thursday morning and she said to come in within the hour! The office staff was so welcoming, friendly, and reassuring as were the clinical team members. I saw Dr. Lawler and he put me right at ease and was also very friendly. Once the novacaine hit, it was about 5 minutes to take out the tooth and perform the bone graft. I didn't feel a thing! I was so pleased as I had a horrible dentist growing up and an awful experience with a root canal 30 years ago. Dr. Lawler and Sarah were amazing! The explained the after care procedures and when the novacaine wore off, they even called in a prescription for some meds as Tylenol was not cutting it with the pain. I woke up pain free this morning and feel great! I even received a text message from OSA asking how I was doing. Now THIS is customer service! I highly recommend OSA for any of your non-general dentists needs. Sandy Hopkins

We had a wonderful experience with Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates for my son’s wisdom teeth removal. From beginning to end, we were very impressed with the entire process. Scheduling was incredibly easy and quick, and we did not have to wait long to get his surgery scheduled. Everyone we encountered, starting with the front desk staff, was kind, polite, professional, and helpful. Dr. Matthew Lawler was wonderful with my son. He was very kind and reassuring and took the time to explain everything clearly so we knew exactly what to expect. The nurses were also extremely attentive and supportive. They carefully went over all of the discharge and aftercare instructions, and we left feeling completely prepared and without any unanswered questions. I especially appreciated that they called us the morning after surgery to check on how my son was doing. That personal follow-up meant a lot and made us feel very well cared for. The office is clean and welcoming, and the entire team is professional and caring. Everything from scheduling and insurance to the surgery and follow-up was smooth and efficient. Absolutely loved the staff! First time in coming from a confusing start to getting dentures. The Doctor explained everything-then they even did all my paperwork, called the other practice (Dunston Dental) to receive the parts of this I need there, called them for me and set everything up! Now I'm well informed with a solid plan and dates on the calendar! Couldn't ask for more! They also except Maine care which is a huge relief to many of people I know!

Dr. Lawler & Caitlin are the best team! Their compassionate care, continuous communication & checking in during surgery made me feel completely comfortable and cared for - I left there smiling (showing my teeth) through a numb mouth more than I had in a long time! Thank you for taking such good care of me!

All the staff at OSA is phenomenal. From the receptionists to the doctors everyone you have contact with is attentive and efficient, professional and caring. I can’t recommend Dr Jacobsen enough, he and his staff were able to manage my son’s oral surgery with great care even with his extreme anxiety. We were both impressed and grateful.

We are SO happy we found Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates! My husband has an extremely complex dental and medical history. He had 2 infected teeth that needed immediate extraction due to extenuating circumstances and after a previous less than ideal experience at a different surgeon, they were highly recommended to us by a close friend. They worked with us through multiple layers of paperwork and got us in early to get the procedure done when someone cancelled. We are so appreciative of their professional and understanding care! Dr. McCarthy and the entire office team made my husband feel comfortable and completely cared for! Thank You so much!

My experience having a tooth extracted was 100% a positive experience from start to finish. Everyone was so helpful, knowledgable, calm, upbeat and caring. It may have been the best dental experience I have ever had. I highly recommend them.

First of all, it’s very hard to get me into any dental office. Never mind having a procedure done. The staff was very very very understanding took very good care of me and made sure that I was calm. My dentist was amazing. He did a quick job and I barely felt it definitely give this place a five star rating.

The team was professionally polite and dressed. The dentist had an excellent personality . Great team, feel proud. The pre op application needs significant improvement. Should be text/email option, so you can print a copy and get confirmation that you have received the completed application. Have every team member fill out the pre op and then have a team meeting to review what can be improved. There are software companies who can help you improve your pre op process. Keep up the great work.😊
