Went to this dentist to get my teeth clean and the Dr was amazing .Dr Ybarra is so sweet she explained all of my oral health. I am so happy with this office I don’t have dental insurance and they took care of me. Ask for Janice she will get you into a dental discount plan

Check out Dr Ybarra she is so knowledgeable and kind. I have a fear with white coats I start hyperventilating but she was able to keep me calm and I was able to take care of all the cavities the day I went in for my check up. Her staff showed me how my insurance worked and were able to help me with a discount and financing. Never felt comfortable before visiting this office

Dr Ybarra and staff are superb. I needed a new dentist as mine retired and I was lucky to find her she is so gentle and love the new modern office and technology. Don’t pay attention to any of the entitled complainers and check this office out.

Been meaning to write a review as I came in a couple months back to get some work done needed a couple crowns. Dr Ybarra was amazing so gentle and explained everything from beginning to end. Janice the front desk explained my insurance coverage and efficient I don’t have good coverage. They were able to offer me a discount which is huge. I mean who would complain about getting a discount. Some of these people ego leave bad reviews are just complainers. Do your self a favor and check them out Dr Ybarra and her office are the best.

Wow what can i say this office is amazing beautiful location close to the beach. I went in for my cleaning and new i needed some work but Dr ybarra didn’t overwhelm me she showed me what was bothering me and i was able to get it taken care of the same day. All the other dentists i have been to i have to make another appotment and they never would go over my xrays and show me exactly the amount. I was able to finance as well. Go see dr ybarra and mekayla. I definitely found my new dentist.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I had an appointment today that left me extremely disappointed with this office's billing and insurance process. When I checked in, I was quoted a significantly different amount than what I had been told during my previous visit. When I tried to ask questions and understand why the cost had changed, I felt like the staff member handling billing and insurance continuously talked over me instead of allowing me to speak or get clarification. I was told there had been an issue with my insurance, yet I never received a phone call, email, or letter notifying me of any changes beforehand. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of transparency. Rather than receiving clear explanations, I felt pressured and dismissed when trying to understand my financial responsibility. I was also told that making a payment toward a charity program could reduce my cost, but I was not given enough information about the program when I asked questions, which left me feeling uncomfortable and uncertain. The only reason this review is not lower is because the dentist herself was kind, professional, and very good at her job. Unfortunately, a great dentist can only do so much when the front office experience is this unpleasant. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend finding another dental office. While the dentist was excellent, the billing and insurance experience was frustrating, confusing, and lacked the level of communication and transparency I would expect as a patient. This office is simply not one I would recommend to friends, family, or anyone looking for a stress-free experience.

Update: I got a statement from my dental insurance. The amount I was billed was higher than what they submitted to the Insurance. The numbers don't match up. Where the heck did the additional charges come from? ----------------- Dr. Ybarra and Dr. Yuen are amazing dentist. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them. They were a pleasure to work with and I wish i could continue going to this location. However, the billing department is a bit outrageous. $18 ,580 for one implant, some bone graphs, and switching a bridge to caps. This was my price out of pocket after insurance covered what it could. I know i was overcharged because i called other offices in the exact same dental network and collected their estimates. A different office explained it this way: There are set prices which they must charge for insurance legality reasons. But if it's not covered, the office has some leeway and can offer incentives like 20% off for new customer, seasonal sales, etc. to make the package more attractive. When I called OMD to ask why I was charged so much the office managers response was "our doctors are specialist, and they use specialized materials ". That excuse doesn't fly when the other offices in the same network have doctors whom are just as qualified and use the same equipment/resources/materials.

Absolute price gouging office. Went here as a new patient in July of 2024 for a regular cleaning and check up after moving to the area. The dentist told me I needed a deep cleaning- that the plaque on my teeth was unable to be cleaned by a regular covered by insurance. I’ve never needed a deep cleaning in my life. They also told me I needed my two wisdom teeth out that have not affected me in anyway (I’ve even had an orthodontist advise that it’s unnecessary to remove these teeth which has been confirmed by other dentists). They told me they could get me in to have this procedure as soon as the following day giving me little to no time to process the information. I recently went to another dentist, 2 years later continuing my regular dental routine, where I was given a standard teeth cleaning covered by my insurance, and was advised my wisdom teeth were not needed to be removed. There was not even a mention of a deep cleaning. This practice tried rushing me into paying for unnecessary procedures - 400$ for a deep teeth cleaning and thousands on wisdom tooth removal. Would highly advise against this office.

I made the switch a few years ago from a different dentistry and I’m so glad I made the decision to switch over to Dr. Ybarra’s office. Dr. Alyssa Ybarra, Cristina, and the team always make me feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable. I feel seen and heard whether it’s dental related or on a personal level. They always provide excellent service and treatments and stay on top of scheduling and reminders. They are kind, patient, gentle, and very knowledgeable. Today I went in for a cleaning, I was recommended new products to try and Cristina also informed me about how it would help me for the next visit. My entire family comes here and we couldn’t have asked for a better dentistry that takes outstanding care of us.
