Dental Care of Huntley

Yesterday I had x-rays and a consult. Dr Pizzo and Sindy. Both were friendly and patient. Today I had a deep cleaning with Sindy. I felt no pain, and she made sure I was comfortable . Overall I had a very good experience. The reception staff is also friendly and helpful.

Had my first visit with this practice after moving into the area. I had a very thorough appointment- from X-rays to cleaning to the exam. The staff was very friendly and caring. I highly recommend!

I used to be a patient when Dr. Wylde was practicing at Dental Care of Huntley. I loved the practice then, so I decided to have my 84 year old mother seen at Dental Care of Huntley. I thought she would have the same kind experience (pleasant, caring, affordable). I'm sorry I did. The practice has changed. They charge RIDICULOUS rates, even after her purchasing their insurance. If you do this to elderly people, who sometimes have no one to advocate for them, what else are they doing that is not right?

Being here felt like I was just a number in the assembly line of patients they book. The staff has headsets they wear that they are touching numerous times throughout the visit, then go right back to touching your mouth. They pushed about 5 different unnecessary X-rays/preventative measures/interventions in my initial visit. I have experience working in the dental industry so I was very aware that these weren’t truly necessary or recommended, but I’m sure plenty of patients trust their recommendations and fall for this. When I came back for my fillings, I was there over 2 hours. The doctor was 45 minutes behind and no one informed me. Then when he finally came in the room he numbed me and left for 15 minutes. He left 3 additional times during my appointment to go work on other patients. They then made me pay nearly $400 out of pocket before a claim was ever sent to insurance. They had plenty of opportunity to tell me this at my previous appointment but didn’t tell me until after my appointment it was due in full and refused to do a payment plan, despite their website stating they do. I will say that the staff, except the man at checkout, were all very kind. The man at checkout made no effort to help me and sounded annoyed by my stress about paying the full bill.

I've been going to Dental Care of Huntley for several years and they are wonderful! Dr. Lee is fairly new to the practice and I have had a few crowns done by him. Each time he has personally called to follow up and see how I was doing. I hope he stays here!

Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for friendly and knowledgeable dental care! Tina was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. She took the time to explain everything clearly and helped create a calm, stress-free environment. Dr. P was just as wonderful, he thoroughly explained the treatment options, answered all of our questions, and showed genuine care and compassion for his patients. The entire team made our experience comfortable, positive, and reassuring. We truly appreciated the level of care we received!

This is by far the best dental care I have ever received. When I went, I mentioned that I had a lot of anxiety and that I had negative past experiences with dentists. The very first thing my hygienist (Ann) did was acknowledge this, asked how they could help me feel more comfortable and asked what my goals were for being there. I explained that knowing what’s happening is very important to me. They explained every step they took and answered all my questions. I also saw Dr. Yong Woo Lee for a procedure and he was amazing as well.

I switched to Dental Care of Huntley after having extreme difficulty getting appointments at my former dentist. The difference in care has been incredible. Dental Care of Huntley is extremely thorough with their exams and cleanings. Yes, it takes longer than my old office, but they do an incredible job. The office is well run and finely tuned. I've never encountered anything other than friendly staff and easy scheduling. Yes, like other reviewers have stated, they have offered extra services. And many older adults think offering Invisalign is "silly" at their age. But the benefits of straightened teeth do carry into your senior years, so it doesn't bother me that it's offered and someday, I will take them up on it. If you are looking for quality, thorough care with dentists who are up to date on the latest techniques and recommendations, this is the place for you.
