Amara Dental

One of the oral surgeons messed up my root canal. I went back and saw the same guy. He then proceeded to lie about being the one who did the botched root canal. He tried passing the buck to another guy that did some of my fillings. He gave me a referral to a place, but I'm wary about trusting anything from this guy. Now I have to search all over NJ to try to find someone that takes my insurance. Hopefully, I can find someone before I die from a blood infection.

This was my first visit to the Amara dental office in Howell. Receptionist was very nice and timely as I entered. Was taken back by the dental hygienist and started my cleaning in a timely fashion. Dr. A was friendly and very thorough with his examination. I would absolutely recommend this office.

Had very bad experience with new orthodontist helper (blond hair), never saw her before I think she is new. She gave me attitude when I told her she forgot to change my sons braces elastics, she said she don’t have to because he wants to keep the same color and while been sarcastic said ok we can teach her how she have to work. You don’t have to have doctors diploma to know they are stretching and you must change every 4 weeks. Well however after I pointed out she changed only the front ones and my son said he have now pain/ tightness only in front ones. I love orthodontist there and staff there so nice, so I hope we will get another helper next time and we don’t have to look for another clinic.

I didnt have pain in my mouth and until had them work on my teeth. I was diagnosed with multiple cavities and got them all done here. The pain was so severe after the fillings and when the inflammation finally went down it felt like they weren't sealing my teeth went back to have it looked at the time and the dentist "there are no guarantees" and wanted me to root canal them all if i didnt like the way they felt. . its been a year now almost all of them hurt now or never stopped hurting and extreme sensitivity to cold or have limited bit force. Wish i never came here. They ruined my teeth

This place has truly gone downhill recently. Although the staff is very kind, they don’t prioritize their patients. I had a standing appointment for the past six months and someone walked in at the wrong time after me and they serviced that patient before me. Who does that? I waited one full hour to get a cleaning… I had an 11 o’clock appointment and did not get started until 12 o’clock while everyone in front of me came and went. Unacceptable.

We have been patients at Amara Dental for a long time now (8+ years?) and we have been extremely happy with their services. The staff are so kind and very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend Amara!

The staff is always friendly. Kennedy deserves an award for putting up with obnoxious people acting like it’s her fault their type of insurance was not accepted. If you are in pain money shouldn’t matter, good care does. I miss Michael, the hygienist, he should be a dentist since he is so knowledgeable. I feel this team is professional and care about my health.
