Love the staff. Rachel is always very helpful and willing to work with you. Dr Aquino is an awesome dentist as well. This office provides all my family’s dental care and needs. Very gentle especially if you’re on the edge with dental care. Highly recommend.

I HATE the dentist. Have always hated it. I endure it when I have to. This was my FIRST time enjoying my time at the dentist. Rachel at the front desk was incredibly warm, soft, and welcoming. Malia the assistant was so kind and sweet and made me feel so comfortable while I waited to be seen. The dentist Mr.Aquino was thee kindest, softest, dentist I’ve ever had. He asked me if I’d like him to explain step by step what he was going to do before he did it, or to do it without telling me. Constantly checked in with me and watched my body language and checked in if he felt a shift in my demeanor. He also spoke to me in Spanish which added another layer of comfort. 10/10 care. 10/10 experience. They have a new patient for life!

I agree with all the 5 star reviews before me. Best dental experience I have ever had. Outstanding customer service and professionalism from Rachel, the dental assistant (sorry I forgot your name!) and Dr Aquino. I really felt cared for and listened to. Dr Aquino went out of his way to make me feel comfortable as someone with extreme sensitivity in areas where my gums are receding. I will most definitely be returning and won’t put off my next appointment like I usually do!

It's hard finding a dentist, let alone an oral surgeon who doesn't leave you, bruised and hurting or broke. PS: Get yourself aetna or a discount plan ASAP. ( takes 2 to 3 days to activate) I was referred here by their sister store, Wilsonville Smiles Dentistry. Beginning with Rachel, who was suuuuuper helpful and supportive in my delicate financial situation, she was able to get me approved immediately for a payment plan. Rachel was more than reassuring that I was in good hands, from check-in to checkout with my nervousness about the procedure. The facility is state of the art. This team was great!!!!! Had 4 wisdom teeth removed using twilight sedation. What a great experience. It was definitely a nice sleep and pain-free. They monitor your heart rate/blood pressure and you the entire time. I didn't catch the nurses' names who helped me, but the blonde lady and dude were very professional and put you at ease. The procedure was less than 40 mins, and I know Dr.Asgar did a great job because even the recovery has been pretty much a breeze. I mean, 4 wisdom teeth recovery is never super fun but very limited swelling and pain. I think the worst a surgeon is, the more pain you endure in your recovery, but that's surely a perspective, not a fact. I just know they took good care of me and a job well done !!! It was a nervous thought to get them pulled, but this is the place to go. I am thankful for this place. They also call you to support you in recovery if you have any questions. Thank you, team ! I have a deep fear of the dentist. That fear leads to avoided appointments and treatments which leads to more needed treatments and fear. Dr. Aquino and his entire team was phenomenal. They were empathetic & took their time to explain everything to me. Rachel, their operations manager, was thorough and had many options for the financial part of the plan. If you're looking for a dentistry team that listens to you and cares about your comfort, give Happy Valley Modern Dentistry a chance. You won't be disappointed!

The front desk lady was always very friendly and helpful. I got my wisdom teeth taken out and it was a very fast process. Recovery is as expected. I think the doctor and team did a great job. The room was very clean. Would recommend.

Super happy with my experience today getting a crown! Rachel helped me with my estimate at scheduling and explained everything so well that none of the charges (or anything during the process) was a surprise. Floria was the doctors assistant and she was soooo attentive and kind! She checked in with me multiple times while we were waiting for my crown to finish, made sure I was comfortable and pain free during the procedure, and hearing her chat with other team members including the doctor made me feel like I was in great hands. Lastly, Dr. Aquino was the BEST! I had a really bad experience with a crown previously which made me nervous and hesitant about getting this done but what a difference a great dentist makes! I’m so pleased with my entire experience here and highly recommend this team!

My family have been a patient here almost 3 years now, and I can’t recommend this clinic enough. The first thing you notice is how clean and modern the office is. They take hygiene and patient comfort seriously. The entire staff is wonderful. Rachel at the front desk is always welcoming and, most importantly, incredibly transparent about fees. Today I met Floria, the assistant, so kind, friendly and warm. Talking to her was so welcoming. Dr. Lenin Aquino is professional, thorough, and has a great chairside manner. It’s a relief to find a dentist that is both skilled, compassionate and completely honest. If you're looking for a long-term family dental clinic you can trust, this is the one.

What a wonderful dental office! If you’re new to the area, we highly recommend HVMD. The staff is so kind and the dentist is thorough and a great communicator! We came here after having a really bummer experience at Mt Scott Dental by Safeway in Clackamas (do NOT go there if you’re considering it). The office is clean, new and bright. My daughter, who usually doesn’t like X-rays, had no issues here. Happy we found this practice.

I have never felt more at ease in a dentist's office than here at Happy Valley Modern Dentistry! Doctor Aquino made me feel so informed and comfortable during my procedure. The trust I have in him is unmatched with other dentists I've been too. His assistant Bri was equally as great and made sure I was always comfortable and had what I need. She even gave me a blanket to make me extra comfortable during my long procedure. Both of them together made for a very smooth experience. Rachel at the front desk is always so kind and very knowledgeable when it comes to insurance and is very upfront when it comes to cost. She also reassured me that everything that I was having done is pregnancy safe. Highly recommend this office and team!
