Dental Center of Florence

I had an appointment September 2 but I got a call about 2 weeks ago because someone had canceled so I took that appointment. I told them to make sure they canceled my appointment for the 2nd and they said they did. I got message a few days before saying about my appointment but I was thinking it was for my cleaning but no it was for my broken tooth!! They never canceled the appointment.so I made a trip an hour away and it was for the same thing I went two weeks ago for. I told the lady I thought it was for a cleaning so now I have to go back in 2 weeks for my cleaning. Not good.

One month to get in to see a dentist,then tell me I will need to come back with an early appointment so they can pull tooth,send partial plate to lab same day to have a Artificial tooth added to plate,then come back afternoon to pick up plate.No problem,asked when we can do this,was told a week or so.then sent to scheduler who made appt.for 1 month,july 28!Dentists don't know what is going on with schedule s..That is why they get only 2 stars.Still don't know quality of their work!

I’ve been a long time patient of Dr. Laws! He is very precise in his work and explanatory in procedures. The staff, from front desk, billing, dental assistants and lab personnel are all professionals! I live in Ohio, so driving to Florence is worth the trip!

I took my father to Dental Center of Florence in 2014 and he had perfect dentures made the same day. It was a wonderful experience. But since then he has had some health issues and as a result has lost 100 pounds so needed new dentures. The experience that we had this time was 100% the opposite of the first experience. He saw Dr. Keith Laws for the initial appointment. He was sent home to wait 2 more weeks for the next appointment. After a total of 5 trips from Morrow, OH to Florence, KY, in which he never saw Dr. Laws again, he was left with a pair of dentures that did not fit his mouth and after repeated questions about why they wouldn't stay in his mouth we were told that he is old and old people need to use glue. Not only were we offended by the comment, but we know that not to be true because my mother is the same age with dentures that she has never had to use anything to hold them in. My parents paid $2000 out of pocket for a set of dentures that cannot be worn. We even took the dentures made by Dental Center of Florence to a different dentist and was told they were useless. So sad that elderly people get treated like this. We will never go back!

Received very little discharge instruction on both the day of the procedure and my follow up! On follow up doctor came in on 2nd visit looked at my gums for less than 5 seconds did some buffing on my dentures. The dental assistant came in polished the denture and said see you in 6 months. I’m on day 8 and still have considerable swelling in my front gums! Pain in my sinus cavity! Just not very good customer service and seem like I was rushed out the door!

The staff at DCOF were amazing. I needed to get my son in this summer for a checkup before heading off to college in the fall. They were able to get him in, were thorough with their checkup and helped schedule follow up appointments all before he heads off to school in August. A very grateful mother here!

ALL the ladies welcomed my little girl when we walked in! It was like walking into a room of expecting grandmother's🩷 we felt welcomed. The staff was so nice and attentive! I'd like to recognize the assistants that helped me, Christy J Dr. Kim Ann I went to a dentist in Independence and it was a 2 hour wait just for him to come in, do X-rays and say what he thought needed to be done! He didn't listen to a word I had to say! So it was really nice when I went to dcof and the FIRST thing Dr. Kim did was LISTEN! 🩷
