Dr Shumway and the entire office are absolutely amazing and so kind. I had to move states mid treatment and they’ve been so wonderful with getting me in and limiting the amount of visits I have to make back. I would recommend this office to anyone!

Had a great experience today with Dr. Joel & Hilda. I went in a bit nervous for my treatment but left feeling fully at ease. Hilda was full of energy & made me very comfortable. Dr. Joel was kind, considerate & careful with his work. I was in and out in an hour. I appreciate their time management it makes things efficient especially when you need to get back to work. Very pleased with this duo and would trust them for any treatment.

I’ve been a happy customer of Shumway Dental for almost 20 years now. I’ve never had a bad experience! Today’s visit was especially awesome as I picked up my whitening trays and retainers. They taught me how to use the trays answered questions I didn’t even think to ask and took the time to adjust the trays to not overlap my gums. Great attention to detail!

I had such a great experience at my dental visit today! Trish did an amazing job cleaning my teeth—she was gentle, thorough, and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. You can really tell she takes pride in her work and cares about her patients. My teeth feel so clean and fresh! Highly recommend asking for Trish if you’re looking for a top-notch hygienist.

I had an excellent experience here. The dentist (D. Tyler)was very thorough and has a great bedside manner, which made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The hygienist ( Debbie), assistant ( Amanda, Shannon, Hilda) were also extremely friendly and professional. They take an extra steps to make sure they pronounce my name correctly. I truly appreciate the care and attention from the entire team and would highly recommend this office.

I can’t begin to express how great this dental office is! It’s a family run practice that once you become a patient you become one of the family. The office appearance itself is pristine! The appearance is inviting and comfortable. The staff at the desk is wonderful! So nice and welcoming. Then let’s talk hygienists, so professional, gentle and friendly. Then you meet your dentist…. I have Dr Joel ( my husband has Dr Tyler). Words cannot describe how wonderful this gentle man is. He so meticulous but at the same time amazingly gentle. He’s everything you want in a dentist! This is a family dentistry that I’m proud to say I’m a member of!!! 5 stars is not enough!!!

My experience as a first time patient was amazing g! Amanda was my highest and I’ve never had a more comfortable cleaning! Dr. Tyler was so nice and informative about my treatment plan. The office is clean and beautiful. I felt very comfortable and cared for her. Will definitely be back.

From the very first visit, from the beginning to the end, I was met with nothing but kindness and compassion. The front desk staff has been consistently welcoming and friendly, making check-in and check-out smooth. Amanda, my dental hygienist, made me feel completely comfortable and never judged. She is gentle, patient, and genuinely caring. Dr. Joel was just as kind and reassuring, taking the time to explain things and making sure I felt at ease, taking breaks if I needed them. After multiple visits to get everything back on track, I can honestly say I now enjoy going in for my cleanings. Amanda is kind, funny, and loves to chat, which keeps me distracted and relaxed the whole time. If it wasn’t for her, I don’t know if I would be as consistent going as I have been. I highly recommend Shumway Dental to anyone—especially those with dental anxiety.
