We were referred to Dr. Hom two years ago by our dentist who could not complete work on my then 7 year old son. It was a difficult tooth. Dr. Hom did a wonderful job with my son and was able to complete the root canal and place a crown. We have been coming to her since and love the office and the staff.

I have been a patient at this practice for over a year, and until today I had never experienced anything but professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience this morning completely changed my opinion. The issue began when I asked questions about an unexpected charge for what I later learned was my fourth cleaning. I wasn't refusing to pay. I simply wanted to understand why my insurance wasn't covering it. Living with lupus has included hospitalizations and flares, and I honestly may have paid this same charge before and simply didn't remember. Once it was explained, I agreed to pay. Instead of answering my questions with patience and professionalism, I felt I was spoken to in a dismissive and punitive manner. I asked to speak with a manager because of how uncomfortable the interaction had become, only to find out the person I was speaking with was the manager. After agreeing to pay, I was asked to sign paperwork so the office could submit the claim to my insurance. I signed it, even though I never received the cleaning because my appointment had been canceled. As I walked away, I quietly said, "Not today, Satan," to myself. It's a common expression that simply means I wasn't going to allow the situation to steal my peace. It was never directed at the manager. She immediately responded, "Oh, now you won't be seen. You called me Satan." I was stunned because that is not what happened. Instead of asking what I meant or attempting to de-escalate the situation, it escalated even further. Concerned that the incident would be misrepresented, I called the police myself so there would be an objective record. The responding officer interviewed an independent witness who corroborated my account of the interaction. Despite that, I was issued a criminal trespass warning from a practice where I had been a loyal patient for over a year. As someone living with lupus, unnecessary stress can have real health consequences. Instead of focusing on my health, I am now left trying to figure out how to have this trespass warning rescinded. I have to obtain police records, communicate with law enforcement, contact the practice, and potentially seek legal guidance over an incident that I believe should never have escalated this far. It has been humiliating, emotionally exhausting, and completely avoidable. This review is not about a billing dispute. I agreed to pay. It is about how a patient was treated for asking questions. Customer service is measured by how concerns are handled, especially when communication breaks down. I expected professionalism, empathy, and a willingness to de-escalate. Instead, I left feeling humiliated, denied care, and burdened with resolving the consequences of an incident that I believe was handled unfairly. I sincerely hope Dr. Caroline Clerisme personally reviews what happened and rescinds the criminal trespass warning. A practice's reputation is built not only on clinical care but also on integrity, accountability, and the way patients are treated when challenges arise.

Love Dr Omar and Ray. I have a lung disease. And they work so patently with me. They never act like I bother them when I ask for breaks. So nice and kind to me. I recommend him too anyone looking for a caring Compassionate dentist.

The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, and made me feel completely comfortable.
